Reflective, psychologically informed and deeply human.

Together, we can co-create a nourishing safe space, unlock new strengths, and help you and those you influence thrive.

I’m Nicole Etienne, a chartered coaching psychologist, executive and leadership coach, and coaching supervisor.

I help professionals who lead and care for others navigate complex work and lives without losing their wellbeing or sense of self.

Coaching has been central to my own journey, not just as a profession, but as a lived experience of what becomes possible when you have space to pause, think, and be met with both care and challenge. That experience shaped how I work today.

With over 30 years of experience across different sectors, I work with senior leaders, founders, coaches and coaching psychologists who navigate complexity, seek purposeful growth, and effective, sustainable leadership. I also work closely with parents and carers, balancing significant responsibilities alongside professional ambition.

My work creates a space where you can step out of the noise and think more clearly about what matters. Together, we slow things down just enough to notice patterns, sharpen decision-making, and align your leadership with your values, capacity, and wellbeing. This is not about doing more, it’s about working and leading with greater intention, precision, and presence.

I have a particular interest in post‑traumatic growth, resilience, and wellbeing. I support clients through experiences such as organisational change, burnout, discrimination, and the often unseen impact of invisible disability or caring responsibilities. These experiences can be deeply challenging, but they can also become sources of insight, strength, and renewed direction when explored in the right way.

Alongside coaching, I supervise coaches and coaching psychologists who want to deepen their practice and navigate complexity with confidence. Supervision with me is a reflective, relational space where you can think more rigorously about your work, strengthen ethical awareness, and continue developing your professional identity while holding safety for others.

My approach is grounded in coaching psychology and positive psychology. It is strengths-focused and trauma-sensitive, always adapted to your context. I combine relational safety with thoughtful challenge, so you can test new ways of leading, reduce reactivity, and expand your capacity to respond with clarity and intention.

If you are someone who leads and cares for others, as a leader, founder, coach, coaching psychologist, neurodivergent professional, parent, or carer and you want to grow without compromising your wellbeing, I offer a space to do that work with depth, honesty and purpose.

What my clients say:

“I’ve had the pleasure of working with Nicole as my coach for the past three years. Her incredible listening skills and ability to provide a calm, structured approach to our sessions have been transformative for my mindset and overall wellbeing. Nicole has a gift for guiding you to see your own progress. She helped me create sustainable practices that have led to significant, lasting results both personally and professionally. I can confidently say that she has been instrumental in helping me become a better version of myself. It is my pleasure to highly recommend Nicole to anyone seeking a dedicated and impactful coach.” (Senior Director, Tech Sector)

My time working with Nicole was incredibly transformative. I was experiencing burn out symptoms when I started our sessions. My sessions with Nicole helped me reset my priorities, deal more effectively with work pressures and clarify my next steps. The version of me that Nicole met, at the start of our time together, was very different to how I felt at the end of our coaching journey.

If I experience similar challenges, I would not hesitate to reach out to Nicole in future. (Senior Leader, Charity/Third Sector)

I’ve had the privilege of being coached by Nicole, and her coaching has been truly transformative. She has helped me navigate a high-performance career and challenging times with empathy, insight, and wisdom, building my self-awareness, resilience, and clarity.

Her guidance has shaped not only my professional growth but also made me a better husband, father, and leader. Every session is a source of inspiration, and I can wholeheartedly recommend Nicole to anyone looking to excel in all areas of life. She is an exceptional coach and a true well of knowledge. Thank you, Nicole! (Senior Leader, Tech sector)

“Working with Nicole completely changed how I approached my exam prep, and I genuinely can’t thank her enough.

I’d been newly diagnosed with ADHD, and honestly, I was still figuring out what that even meant for me, especially when it came to studying. I’d always struggled to stay focused and organised, but now I finally had a name for it, and Nicole helped me understand how to actually work with it.

What stood out most was her warmth. Being newly diagnosed can feel overwhelming and a bit isolating, but Nicole created a space where I never felt judged or “behind.” She genuinely understood what I was going through and met me exactly where I was. At the same time, she was incredibly focused and practical, she helped me build strategies tailored to how my brain actually works.

One thing I really valued was how creative her techniques were. These creative approaches played to my strengths and made studying something I could genuinely engage with, rather than dread. We tackled two different specialities together, and for the first time, exam prep felt manageable instead of impossible.

I went into my exams feeling prepared and confident rather than overwhelmed. If you’re newly diagnosed with ADHD, or just struggling to find an approach that fits, I can’t recommend Nicole enough. She combines real warmth with genuine focus, and she truly helped me get results. Thank you.” (GP, Healthcare)

“Nicole and I had coaching sessions focusing on advocating for myself, social interactions and boundaries among other things. Nicole made me feel really comfortable and safe to share my experiences as a neurodivergent woman of colour, she is a great listener and I had the space to reflect and come up with solutions. Nicole was also very professional and reliable….” (Manager and Neurodiversity Advocate, Charity/Third Sector)

“Nicole’s style of coaching encouraged me to reflect on my values/character/skills/preferences in preparation for an exam. She has a welcoming manner which created a safe environment to explore these concepts, whilst also challenging me at the right times… Nicole’s approach of enabling me to discover answers for myself was extremely edifying.” (Doctor, Healthcare)

“I highly recommend Nicole to anyone seeking to evolve their coaching practice. I was privileged to have Nicole as my skilled and empathetic coaching supervisor. Nicole’s ability to create a calm, non-judgmental and safe space allowed me to open up and explore areas I hadn’t realised were affecting my coaching practice. Her remarkable skill in getting beneath the surface truly sets Nicole apart. With her guidance, I could dig deep and uncover underlying thoughts and patterns affecting my practice. Her thoughtful questions and gentle encouragement gave me powerful insights into my coaching practice and helped me identify concrete actions.”(Founder, Speaker, Executive/Leadership Coach, Coaching and Professional Services)

“Nicole was very empathetic, she listened very carefully and deeply and showed full understanding of my situation and problem. She helped me to gain new perspectives on my problem and identify approaches for addressing them.” (Tech Sector, Leader)

I started working with Nicole earlier this year after my long term supervisor retired. I was quite set on what I wanted from supervision and my expectations of my Supervisor. Nicole is very different from my previous Supervisor and what I thought I ‘wanted’ yet from day 1 she put me at ease.
She creates a calm, warm and challenging reflection and learning space. Each session feels like a an enriching journey of discovery and I always come away feeling like I’ve sharpened some of my personal and professional tools. Thank you Nicole for your wonderful work and I look forward to our partnership continuing! (Executive/Leadership Coach, Coaching and Professional Services)

For the last six months, I’ve had the privilege of working with an incredible coaching supervisor who has truly transformed the way I see myself as a coach. Her approach creates a space where I feel calm, centered, and connected to what’s happening within me. She helps me stay focused through thoughtful contracting and is a masterful listener, reflecting the deeper themes I sometimes don’t even realise are there.

One of the most powerful gifts she’s given me is helping me see my own strength and the difference I make for my clients. Through our work together, I’ve come to reconnect with my creativity, something I bring to my coaching and in turn, I’ve inspired her to be creative too. Our conversations often follow a thread around wellbeing, and today’s session was no exception. The metaphor we explored was the “gardeners” in my life my husband and children who nurture and support me, helping me grow and thrive.

Supervision has shown me so many new perspectives. It’s made me appreciate that I am, and always will be, a work in progress. I’m deeply grateful for the life I live and the wonderful people, family, friends, and clients who are a part of it.

A recent theme that emerged today was around my voice. A client recently shared that they found my voice soothing, calming, and reassuring, something I had never considered before. My son, when I shared this, affirmed that my voice indeed has that quality. This realisation has been eye-opening. There was a time when I felt unsure, when I let the “frogs in my throat” take over and dim my confidence. But now, I see my voice as a powerful tool that I can lean into.

Thank you to my supervisor for helping me see myself more clearly and for nurturing this journey of growth. (Executive/Leadership Coach, Coaching and Professional Services)
